Machined Rubber

If you are in need of a small run of parts and do not require a quantity large enough to justify a mold or die, machining is a viable alternative. If you do have a large volume project, visit our Molded Rubber page.

Custom Machined Rubber Parts

  • Small Run Efficiency: Ideal for low-quantity orders where the cost of a mold or die is not justified.
  • Design Requirements: Any rubber part featuring a center hole where the outside diameter is concentric can potentially be machined.
  • Cost Considerations: While the per-piece price is generally higher than molded parts, machining requires minimal tooling costs.
  • Zero Tooling Options: Certain components, such as step bushings, can often be produced with no tooling charges at all.
