Rubber molding allows for the production of complex and custom shaped rubber products with precision tolerances in many different rubber compounds to meet your specific requirements. This makes it perfect for unique and specialized applications. There are three different types of molding processes: compression, transfer, and injection. We will work with you to determine which process best suits your needs. By using a custom mold for your project we can create a durable product that will also be more cost-effective for larger scale production.
We extrude rubber to manufacture items such as rubber cord, rubber tubing, standard shapes such as rubber squares and rectangles, or custom rubber shapes in long continuous lengths. The rubber extrusion process offers exceptional versatility, with its ability to produce almost any rubber shape in a wide variety of sizes. Rubber extrusion also has low set-up costs when compared to other rubber manufacturing processes.
We can also fabricate parts that require lathe cutting, die cutting, splicing, and more. Our custom fabrication capabilities help to keep higher initial set-up costs down for long or short run jobs.
Acme Rubber can guide you through the process of material selection for your projects and help you determine which rubber compound will work best in your application. We have solutions for chemical, UV, ozone, and abrasion resistance, extreme temperature resilience, FDA grade compliance, and more.
